Yup, still thinking of ways to tone these babies down. I love them with this men’s knit hoodie I picked up in Stockholm a couple months ago to ruin the look a little bit. COS so needs to make it to the US already!

Antique Shop Date,シャネル 財布

This morning Mr. Larson and I had a chance to visit a few flea markets and antique shops together. It's one of our favorite little dates. He likes to shop for vintage guitars and microphones and I hunt for dresses,louis vuitton outlet online, chairs, hats and cute housewares.♥ 

I wore a white vintage dress with vintage necklace and tooled purse, cardigan from Target and vintage cowboy boots. 

Right now I am at the airport getting ready to travel to SF for a few days to meet with the lovely folks at Levi's and some people I know through Shape What's To Come. I'll be sure to share lots of photos! XO,コーチ, elsie

My Week with Marilyn: Feminine, Flirty and Fabulous

(Sweater – H&M, Dress – vintage via Deelux, Belt – Thrifted, Jacket – Thrifted, Shoes – JCPenney,nike Free, Sunglasses – River Island)

All I can say is.. it’s fun to channel Marilyn Monroe… and may I add.. it takes a lot of work to channel Marilyn Monroe.

The process starts with curling and pinning all my hair. Then it’s on to makeup, and let’s just say fake eyelashes are not my best friends. Next, the hair comes out of the pins.. it’s brushed and sprayed into place. Finally,シャネル財布 新作, the outfit is chosen and it’s all about being feminine, flirty and fabulous.

Normally, when wearing a body hugging dress,シャネル 財布, I would pull out the spanx and suck it all in.. but this time I heard Marilyn say, “let’s embrace the imperfections.. and be the woman that you are”.  Thanks Marilyn.. I think I will.

And with that, I was off on a date with my man.. oh.. and he’s loving this by the way!

retail happiness!

we've learned so much these past two months. we've worked in the shop together almost every day and it's been better than i ever could have imagined. in my previous location i had a difficult time balancing retail and creative time (basically, i always wanted to be in my home studio and not in the store), but here it's happening more naturally. i'm getting more done than i did working from home. i love being at the shop and we're getting excited about every single new display and new addition. things are clicking!

we had a planning meeting last night (we used a super helpful Q&A style outline from our pal Promise). talking through this past year was so encouraging. we',コーチ 長財布;ve grown so much! you',コーチ アウトレット;ll never know how much it's changed my personal and business life to work with emma every day. it's the most positive thing that's happened to Red Velvet and I am so excited to start this new year off with her! ,コーチ公式;

i guess i'm telling you all of this to say that i'm more motivated than ever to build our company and realize our dreams. things are really really good here and i owe a lot of thank yous to my wonderful blog readers and sponsors for supporting this adventure.♥ 

(above) we took a few snapshots to show our project for the day. we're adding about 100 new/vintage items to the retail floor and preparing for a mega makeover in our back studio room. we can't wait to reveal photos when it's ready… and even more, start creating back there! our new intern comes in just a few weeks. My new dress line will be underway in a snap! How crazy is that?

Moving in, I decided to take a "one room at a time" approach to my decorating. In the apartment before our condo, I found myself piddling in several rooms at a time and never really feeling like I completed anything.
