9,500 PEOPLE ATTEND HUGELY SUCCESSFUL TASTEFEST CORK

TasteFest kicked off to a great start with a wonderful social atmosphere on the opening Thursday night. Despite the heavy rain on Friday, lots of brave souls turned up and thoroughly enjoyed their day out. Saturday brightened up considerably and queues were noted at all the restaurants as people enjoyed the delicious signature dishes provided by Cork’s top restaurants. By Saturday night the Corona Extra and McGuigan wine bars were thronged with revellers and everyone rocked to the sounds of Love Street and Shantale. As temperatures soared to over 20 degrees on Sunday, the atmosphere was ‘TasteTastic’ as the party atmosphere climaxed at the stunning surroundings of Cork’s jewel that is Fitzgerald Park.
